Reflections on life, the universe, and everything from my perspective.

I am pleased, excited, and nervous, and honored to accept a position which I believe is one of great value in the healthcare field, working for an authentic and progressive employer, and with one of the best departments in the country while working still where I can see mountains, real mountains. The Telford’s are moving on to Denver soon. Intermountain Healthcare is a great organization without a doubt. I am privileged to work toward positive outcomes for our patients and visitors with a great group of direct and indirectly tied staff such as imaging service engineers, call center employees, healthcare information technology professionals, clinical engineering technicians, too many medical and clinical specialists to mention here, and ever other guru you may imagine. The opportunity in Denver is just one that is a personal passion in an area the family believes will enhance us all. Some have said this is a step in my career, but I think two important equally important factors outweigh this assumption, my family comes first in this decision and I could have held positions with more impressive sounding titles but not many with as great a mission to serve as we believe this will be. Of course, I will continue on as Director of Clinical Engineering for earthMed, be an active member of several organizations, fulfill the last year of my tenure as president of META, and even hope to be working with the cub scouts once we get settled.
